Rights and Privacy
You are agreeing to submit your experiences, journals, artwork, poetry, social media posts, or other digital content to Documenting the Student Experience of COVID-19 at Sarah Lawrence College. The Sarah Lawrence College Archives is developing a permanent digital record of the SLC student experience of the pandemic. Your contributions will help future students, researchers, and historians understand how this historic event affected Sarah Lawrence students.
By submitting material to Documenting the Student Experience of COVID-19 at Sarah Lawrence College, you give, grant, and transfer the material described above to the Sarah Lawrence College Archives, and relinquish whatever physical and literary rights you may possess to the contents. You agree to grant the College Archives rights to make preservation and access copies of the content and to make this content available online. On its part, the College Archives will care for the above material in a manner that in its sole judgment will provide for the preservation of the items gifted. It is the intent of the College Archives to make the items gifted herein readily available for research; however, all access to the gifted material shall be at the sole discretion of the College Archives. The College Archives also reserves the right to dispose of duplicate or unneeded items. This agreement does not authorize the exploitation of your contribution for profit or commercial use.
You have the option for your material to be published on the Documenting the Student Experience of COVID-19 website. Otherwise, responses will only be available to approved researchers using the SLC Archives.
You must currently be enrolled in Sarah Lawrence College and be 18 years of age or older to submit material to us. The material must have been created by you, wholly original, and shall not be copied from or based, in whole or in part, upon any other photographic, literary, or other material, except to the extent that such material is in the public domain. Further, submitted material must not violate any confidentiality, privacy, security, or other laws.
Note that this site collects email addresses in order to validate submissions. These addresses are not shared.
