Not quite like the library
This photo is of a Sarah Lawrence Senior writing their Conference Project at the kitchen table of the house where they were sitting in quarantine. The conference project would otherwise have been written sitting in the Sarah Lawrence Library. The book the student is using is the only resource for this class they they were able to take with them when they left campus. The entire conference project was written based on one book and digital resources.

"Up the Coast" - Two Week Trip Plan Across California Coast
A detailed future schedule of my anticipatory trip up the coast of California once quarantine is lifted. Plans for what campgrounds to stay at, best local restaurants & shops, hidden beaches on the coast, hikes that I have to try, and detailed daily agendas and plans for a trip up the coast, just me, after the Sarah Lawrence semester is over and I am able to travel and explore again. Hung on my bedroom door to remind me I will be able to travel and experience the world again after isolation, gives me hope and solace when I feel claustrophobic in my small town.

Station for Making Recycled Paper
In order to keep in touch with my friends at Sarah Lawrence over the pandemic, I have been using my stationery to write penpal letters but recently ran out. I visited my grandmother's house and made recycled paper with lavender leaves & yellow flowers to use as stationery for letters to SLC friends.

Arts & Crafts During COVID-19
Making recycled paper at my grandmother's house in Ojai, CA before my next Zoom conference with Elizabeth Johnston for my Memory Research Seminar. About 90 degrees so the paper dries fast, infused the paper with lavender oil and yellow flowers.

My Economics class made a video for our seniors!
My Macroeconomics teacher, An Li, was thoughtful enough to create a video for the graduating seniors in our class. He asked us non-graduating students to send photos of ourselves holding a paper with the word 'congratulations.' It was wonderful seeing the joy on the seniors' faces when he played the video as a surprise in our final class meeting. It reminded me of the power of acts of kindness that we can share, even virtually, in uncertain times like these.

Bouquet making
After a trip to Grandma’s house to deliver groceries and to collect some flowers from the garden there, Bella put together several bouquets while attending online lectures and painting.
